Lynar Moon Engine 1.5.0

This repository contains the most recent release version of the Lynar Moon Engine.


This engine is well documented on lynar studios website: In addition to that there is an offline documentation in doc directory!


To build this library just run cmake on CMakeLists.txt. A library file will be generated then. You just need to link this library to your application. After you did that you may begin developing your own game!

On Windows:

  • Put the binary files located in either x86 or x64 directory to the .exe files directory!

On Ubuntu (from source):

  • Open Terminal (is integrated in CLion) and navigate to SDL2 > cd lib/SDL/src/SDL2
  • Start configure file > ./configure
  • make this file > make
  • install made file

    sudo make install

  • Do this with lib/SDL/src/SDL2_image and the other 2 SDL libraries as well! Note that you might need to install some additional dependencies to make SDL work on your machine!

On Ubuntu (command line)

sudo apt-get install libsdl2-dev libsdl2-image-dev libsdl2-ttf-dev libsdl2-mixer-dev


  • Open this file and have a look if the relative path (from the .exe files directory) is still correct. If not change the path.
  • This file must be located in the same directory as the .exe file.
